Buy a boat
knowing what you're buying.
We find the boat you need, document its condition before you hand over a deposit, and stay with you through to the change of ownership.
Three ways to find it
The listings are only one of them, and rarely the quickest.
Tell us what you want the boat for, how many people will be aboard, the length and engines you have in mind and your budget. We look across the market, the boatyards, other brokers and our own network in the Canaries, and only put forward what is worth your time.
Set us a briefSave what you are looking for and get an email as soon as we list a boat that fits. No need to watch the site every day.
Set up an alertThe boats we have listed right now. Those carrying the Barcos360 Verified mark come first, and link through to their condition report.
See boatsBefore you pay a deposit
What you want to know about a boat once you've fallen for it.
- 01We go and see it
We travel to any island, inspect the boat and report back with photographs and readings, before you get on a plane.
- 02We document its condition
Hull, engines, systems, safety gear and paperwork, separating what we checked from what the seller declared and what is still outstanding.
- 03We check the paperwork
Ownership, outstanding charges, registry list, registration and tax. Whatever turns up, you get it in writing before any money changes hands.
- 04We negotiate and close
Documented faults give you something to negotiate with. Contract, payment and transfer of ownership, with a lawyer and a shipping agent when the case calls for it.
See exactly which checks were carried out.
On our verified listings the mark is a link: it opens that boat's condition report, with the date of the inspection and the result area by area. No adjectives — what was checked, and how it came out.
The full technical report, with the detailed findings, goes to the interested buyer.
