What data we process, and why
- Your account: name, email, phone and seller type, to run your account and your listings.
- Listings: details of the boat and photographs, to publish once reviewed.
- Enquiries about a listing: name, email, phone and message, passed to the seller of that listing and to Barcos360.
- Inspection, survey and valuation requests: contact details and details of the boat, to prepare the quote and carry out the work. The resulting report and its photographs are kept with the request.
- Search briefs: what you are looking for, your budget and your contact details, so we can find boats and put them to you.
- Boat alerts: the criteria you save and your email, so we can write to you when we list a boat that fits. You can switch the alerts off or delete them at any time from your account.
- The boat's history: where you provide it, the accounts, photographs and documents you supply, to prepare the boat's presentation and, with your express authorisation, hand them to the new owner.
- Launch notification: your email, to let you know when the site opens.
Legal basis
Performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (account, listings, search briefs, inspections and surveys); consent (contact forms, boat alerts, launch notification and publication of a boat's history); and legitimate interest in the security of the site and in preventing fraud and abuse of the forms.
How long we keep it
For as long as the account is active and, after that, for the limitation periods set by law. Inspection and survey reports are kept while liability could still arise from them. You can delete your account at any time from your profile.
Who receives the data, and our processors
- Sellers receive the enquiries sent to their listings.
- The professionals involved in a service (surveyor, marine engineer, electronics technician, lawyer or marine agent) see only the data their part of the job requires.
- Hosting provider: the site is hosted on servers located in the European Union.
- Email delivery: we use an email delivery provider for notifications and alerts, which processes the data on behalf of Barcos360.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: checks that whoever sends a form is a person. See the cookie policy.
We do not pass data to third parties for commercial purposes and we do not build profiles with legal effects. Boat alerts are an automatic match between the criteria you saved and the boats we list; they have no effect on you beyond the alert itself.
Children
Barcos360's services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@barcos360.com. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es).
