Terms of use and of service
Última actualización: October 2026
1. Registration and account
To list boats, save search criteria or follow a request you need an account with accurate details. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for activity carried out from your account.
2. Listing a boat
- We only accept real boats that are genuinely for sale and that the advertiser owns or is authorised to sell.
- The information and the photographs must be of the boat advertised.
- Every listing is checked before it goes live. Barcos360 may reject a listing, correct obvious errors in it, or take down listings that breach these terms.
- Any change to a published listing goes back through review.
- Engine hours, history and equipment are declared by the advertiser unless it is expressly stated that Barcos360 has verified them.
The check made before publication tests the listing for consistency and quality. It is not a technical inspection, and it does not guarantee the condition of the boat.
3. Inspection and survey services
Inspection and survey services are provided under a quote accepted by the client beforehand, to the scope set out in it.
- The inspection is visual, functional and non-invasive, and covers the parts accessible at the time of the inspection.
- No dismantling, opening up of engines, removal of linings or destructive testing is carried out unless expressly agreed.
- The report does not guarantee the absence of hidden defects, internal, intermittent or in places that cannot be reached, nor how equipment will behave in future.
- Auxiliary readings (moisture, thermal imaging, tachometer, GPS, endoscope) are indicative and comparative, and are not a diagnosis in themselves.
- Items marked N/C (not checked) and ESP (specialist required) are not faults: they express a limit on the scope.
- The conclusions apply to the date of the inspection and the conditions on that day.
- The report does not replace the Spanish vessel inspection (ITB), the certificate of seaworthiness or CE conformity assessment, which are matters for the competent bodies.
- Outside services, analyses, diagnostics, dismantling and any additional cost require the client's prior authorisation.
The report is issued to the client who commissions it, for the purpose stated in it. Passing it to third parties is the client's responsibility. Barcos360 accepts no liability towards anyone using the report for a purpose, a date or a boat other than those stated in the document.
4. The "Barcos360 Verified" mark
The mark indicates that the boat has been through the Barcos360 inspection and verification process, on the date shown in its condition report and to the scope described there. It sorts information into four categories: verified (checked during the inspection), declared (given by the owner and not independently verified), outstanding (not inspected, or needing further checks) and fault found.
The mark is not a guarantee about the boat, nor a recommendation to buy, nor a ruling on her fitness to go to sea. All the limits set out in section 3 apply to it.
5. Brokerage, search briefs and guided sales
Barcos360 is not a party to sales between users unless its brokerage is expressly engaged. On a search brief, Barcos360 finds and puts forward boats that may fit the criteria given; the decision to buy and the negotiation with the seller always rest with the client. The commercial terms of any brokerage are agreed in writing before the service begins.
6. The boat's history, photography and content
Where an owner authorises us to gather and publish the history of their boat — accounts, passages, old photographs, documents or references to previous owners — they confirm that they hold the necessary rights to that material and authorise its use in presenting and marketing the boat.
Barcos360 will review that material and may decline to publish anything containing third parties' personal data without their consent, images of identifiable people who have not agreed to it, or content whose ownership is in doubt. The gathered history is handed to the new owner only with the seller's express authorisation.
Photographs, videos and virtual tours produced by Barcos360 belong to Barcos360, which licenses the owner to use them to sell that boat.
7. Market valuations
Market valuations are opinions of value based on comparable boats and on the condition observed. They are not a formal appraisal for the purposes of Spanish Order ECO/805/2003, and they are not valid as a mortgage valuation or as expert evidence in court unless expressly stated otherwise.
8. Prohibited use
You may not publish false or misleading content, impersonate anyone, use the site for fraudulent purposes, scrape data automatically or send unsolicited commercial messages to other users.
9. Suspension
Barcos360 may suspend accounts that breach these terms. Listings belonging to suspended accounts stop being shown.
10. Changes to these terms
Barcos360 may update these terms. The version that applies is the one published when you use the service or accept a quote.
